Role of the Publisher. Edikta S.r.l. is responsible for the operational management of the Journal, including editorial production, distribution, digital preservation, and all contractual, fiscal, and regulatory compliance obligations.
The scientific society. European Gynecology and Obstetrics is published on behalf of the European Society of Gynecology (ESG; registration number CHE-253.393.638, Locarno, Switzerland), the scientific society holding the editorial brand. ESG is responsible for the overall strategic direction and for the scientific legitimization of the Journal within the international professional community.
Editorial independence. A strict separation is maintained between the editorial process and the Publisher's operational and commercial functions. The Editor-in-Chief exercises full and independent authority over scientific content and over decisions of acceptance, revision, and publication. Neither the Publisher nor the Society intervenes in decisions concerning individual manuscripts. These principles are established in the Editorial Policy Statement and the Editorial Board Charter.
Publishing relationship. The relationship between the Publisher and the Society is governed by a Publishing Agreement that supports the financial sustainability of the Journal's operations under the diamond open access model, with no author-facing charges. Further detail is provided in the Author Fees and Publication Charges Policy.
